News 29th July 2020

  • A ‘Memorandum of Cooperation’ with the Municipality of Tirana to develop a new golf programme in Albania. At present there are no golf courses in the country. Part of our work is to ensure the project is culturally sensitive and ethically robust. We have a world class team working on this.
  • Conversations with a creative water technology company to help them establish a platform for wholesome, holistic engagement with developing countries (particularly island, lake, or river-based communities).
  • Help for the ‘Arts’. We are exploring a new post-Brexit, pan-European orchestra for young professionals (viz. in the first 5 years after music college or a conservatoire). The ‘soft diplomatic’ potential of music (like sport) in these fractious days is immense. Again, we have an excellent team.
  • Work on another OH Paper on India. Our last paper – ‘Fighting for India’s soul’: hope, hate and the Citizenship (Amendment) Act 2019 (CAA) has been widely distributed and well-received. It will shortly be available ‘open access’ on the website. Oxford House papers written in the last few years are being revised and will be uploaded onto the website (for ‘members’ or purchase).

The new site is still under construction. Do check back for updates in the coming weeks or contact us via contact@oxfordhouseresearch.com.
